Food - reasonably priced and amazing- large gyro salad was stacked with meat, split it with my wife and was well satisfied. But polished off my nephews Philly cheesesteak cuz it was so good- big, meaty and tender, cheesy. Bread roll and pita was warm and soft. Atmosphere and service are good- no frills. Enjoyed a TV showing the Greek coastline. You order and pay at the counter. No table service. Cute older folks running the place, heard the guy was the owner. Happy to support them, will be back.
Wandered in an ordered dinner for the family to go. We got Gyros and cheeseburgers. Both get the best recommendations from us. We ordered the meal versions so they came with french fries (so delightfully fresh and salty). The gyro was packed with the perfect combination of flavor and perfectly cooked lamb (they have additional options as well). The cheeseburger was also delicious and everything was made fresh and made to order. The service was great - they were friendly and helpful and observant. We also tried one of each of the 3 types of baklava they had available and…oh my word…WOW. I have no idea how they pack so much divine awesomeness into these little desserts, but I highly recommend trying them. Everything was clean and considering they made my food fresh when I ordered, they were really fast. They packaged my food up for me to take “to go” so it was easy to carry out and transport home. I’m definitely going back. So glad this place opened up in my area.
All the reviews are bang on. The chicken kabab plate with pita, Greek salad and rice was very substantial, fresh and delicious. The lamb gyros, loaded with tomatoes, lettuce was huge with lots of delicious sliced lamb gyros meat. All were wrapped in the most soft delicious pita. This is a true Greek family run, mostly take-away style restaurant. They are super friendly and engaging when you walk through the door making you feel like you entered a family home for dinner. The little bit of a wait while preparing your fresh food was actually the fun part of stopping in here. For sure to become a regular for us here in Mesa.
